A 6-month program for IIITH faculty to turn deep-tech research into a market-ready Proof of Concept.
About the program
The Pre-Product POC Grant is designed to give IIITH faculty the financial and operational support needed to translate innovative, deep-tech research into a tangible, market-ready Proof of Concept (POC) prototype.
Faculty members working on research with commercial potential are invited to apply for this 6-month program. It offers funding, product engineering support from the TTO, and market strategy guidance from CIE — helping faculty-led research move toward becoming a startup.
Participants get hands-on engineering support to turn research code into a robust first-generation prototype, along with market mapping and go-to-market planning support.
Additionally, faculty stand to receive a Research Prototype Grant of up to ₹5 lakhs.
