CIE-IIITH Hosts Pitching Event for Avishkar Accelerator Summer Cohort 2025
On 20th November 2025, CIE-IIITH hosted the pitching event for the Avishkar Accelerator – Winter Cohort 2025.
The event featured 21 promising startups presenting their innovations to a panel of industry experts, shortlisted from 123+ applications.
After a through evaluation process, 5 startups were selected to join the accelerator. They will now receive up to INR 40L in Seed Funding, along with strategic mentorship, research support, and market access to help scale their solutions.
We’re excited to kick off the Winter Cohort 2025 and look forward to supporting the growth of these innovative startups.

The AI x SaaS Founders Meetup brought together an energetic group of builders and founders who shared practical insights, real startup stories, and perspectives on the future of AI-driven SaaS. The session sparked valuable conversations, new connections, and fresh ideas within the community.
T-Health Cafe
CIE IIIT-H hosted the T-Health Café on 7th November 2025, featuring Mr. Amjad Khan Patan and Mr. Rajani Kumar Bevara from Bosch Global Software Technologies. Their insights on MedTech innovation and corporate–startup collaboration greatly enriched the session.

CV Labs 6th Edition – Bhashini
CIE IIIT-H successfully hosted the 6th edition of CV Labs – Bhashini, a 2-week co-creation workshop focused on advancing Indian Language AI through NLP and Speech technologies. Startups collaborated closely with IIIT-H research experts, refined their tech approaches, built enhanced POCs, and received hands-on mentorship, culminating in impactful final presentations.

CIE at IIIT Hyderabad is a technology incubator with rich experience in seeding, nurturing, and growing deep-tech startups in emerging segments like med-tech, tech4social, visual informatics, data engineering, and machine learning, language technologies, gaming, and robotics. CIE IIITH, with a research-led innovation as its primary mandate, focuses on amplifying technology through research collaboration and co-creation models for startups to work with research groups at IIITH.
Under the CIE umbrella, there are 3 active incubators: the Deeptech incubator (Avishkar), the Medtech incubator (Ojas) & the Social incubator (AIC). CIE also includes enabling labs such as a well-equipped Maker Lab, a Medical Electronics Calibration Lab, and a AR/VR lab. IIIT Hyderabad also includes Product Labs to seed new products from research — a pre-incubation program to seed startups from research.
In the past 15 years we have grown to be the largest academic incubator in the country, have housed over 450+ startups that have raised about 250+Cr funding, and created over 2500+ jobs. Today there are very active programs focused on emerging technology startups, research-based startups, medical technologies, and social technology startups.
