In Conversation with Nirmal and Madhavi, founders Kidsens:
Founded 3 years ago, having been associated with Schools and Pre-schools in Hyderabad, Kidsens assists children’s neurodevelopment in the critical first 6 years of their life, when the interventions work the best and enable the child to realize their full potential. Generally, Schools provide scoring and academic report but not the development report. Having worked in different countries, Madhavi was familiar with such frameworks and activities where upto 6 years, schools tracks the development of a child.
Hence, the team built an intelligent data science driven health technology company focussed on transforming paediatric development and behavioural health. The platform is deployed using cutting edge technology(AI and ML) & clinical expertise for parents, schools and doctors to timely screen and assist children’s developmental health.

- Spotting need/opportunities for AI:
Fewer evidence-based methods, most of the available tools are based on trial and error - Bigger the problem size, bigger is the data and that helps to deploy scalable solutions which has to be through the use of technology
- The accessibility of the solution is crucial and with tech in place, it is made possible
- Evolving needs and learning from existing conditions could be conveniently captured through ML and AI
