The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India has recently launched the Technology Incubation and Development of Entrepreneurs (TIDE 2.0) program. This program aims to strengthen 2000 Technology Startups, leveraging ICT enabled technologies, in selected areas of national concern, e.g. Healthcare, Education, Agriculture, Financial inclusion including digital payments, Infrastructure and transportation, Environment and clean tech, Clean energy and other emerging areas.
SproutUp – Startup Hackathon is being conducted to support Entrepreneurs and Startups working in areas of Societal importance through integration of new and emerging technologies to make scalable and sustainable products/solutions.
Selected teams will be getting Rs. 1 Lakh cash prize upon achieving milestones set and also will be eligible to pitch for SparkUp – EIR program of CIE-IIIT Hyderabad
Hackathon winners to receive INR 1 Lakhs as a seed grant upon achieving the milestones set
Hackathon winners will be eligible to pitch for EIR acceleration program under TIDE 2.0 and get help in idea development, idea validation and subsequent development of proof of concept

Selected startups through the Hackathon will receive an ignition grant and further be eligible to pitch for SparkUp – EIR Acceleration program which includes fellowship and mentoring
